During the dry summer months, local families often lack access to clean water. By renovating an ancestral well that retains water year-round and adding a protective structure to prevent contamination, we have secured a dependable source of drinking water for the community. Despite the challenges of a rainy-season construction, our team successfully completed this vital project in August 2025.

Previously, the school lacked reliable refrigeration, causing fresh food to spoil quickly and increasing the risk of food-borne illness among students. By installing a dedicated refrigerator, the project created a safer way to store nutritious meals and maintain food quality every day. This initiative helped improve student well-being, reduce waste, and support a healthier learning environment. Completed in April 2025, the project demonstrates how practical, sustainable solutions can create lasting impact for local communities.

Local mothers recognized the urgent need for reliable food storage to provide students with fresh, healthy meals each day. Despite challenging road conditions and long travel distances, the community worked together to transport and install the refrigerator at the remote school. With safe refrigeration now in place, food stays fresh longer, reducing waste and supporting better nutrition for students and families alike. Completed in April 2025, the project highlights the strength of grassroots leadership and the lasting impact of community-driven solutions.

Led by the Anbu and Nila mothers’ groups, the project renovated an unused area with new roofing, secure doors, improved lighting, and a sanitary napkin incinerator to create a cleaner and more dignified environment for students. The new space provides girls with greater comfort, privacy, and confidence while attending school each day. Completed in August 2025, this initiative reflects the impact of community-led solutions that promote safety, hygiene, and equal access to education.

The local church, which also serves as a relief hub during flood seasons, previously relied on a deteriorating toilet facility that posed serious public health risks. This initiative funded the construction of a new two-door pit latrine, improving sanitation standards and creating a safer environment for worship, community gatherings, and relief support activities. The upgraded facility has helped reduce infection risks, improve hygiene, and restore dignity for the surrounding community. Completed in August 2025, the project reflects the long-term impact of practical, community-focused health solutions.
